1. What you're agreeing to

These terms are an agreement between you and the operators of MarketWyrm (marketwyrm.com), which is run independently from the Netherlands and Canada. By using the site, or by creating an account, you accept them. If you don't agree with something here, the remedy is simple and free: don't use the site.

2. What MarketWyrm is

MarketWyrm watches Grand Exchange market data for RuneScape 3 and Old School RuneScape and turns it into trends, signals, watchlists, and alerts. It is a fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Jagex Ltd. RuneScape and Old School RuneScape are trademarks of Jagex Ltd. All market activity happens in the games themselves under Jagex's rules — MarketWyrm only reads public market data and never touches your game account.

3. Not advice, no guarantees

Everything MarketWyrm shows — trends, calls, targets, projections, risk grades — is automated analysis of public market data about virtual in-game items, provided for information and entertainment. It is not financial advice, and no outcome is guaranteed: predictions can be wrong, data can be delayed or incorrect, and past performance of a call says nothing certain about the next one. We publish our track record, hits and misses alike, precisely because the wyrm is not always right. Decisions you make in the game, and any in-game gold you gain or lose, are entirely your own.

4. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old, in line with the games' own age requirement.
• Sign up with an email address you actually control — password resets and any alerts you enable go there.
• Keep your password to yourself. What happens under your account is on you; if you think someone else got in, reset your password.
• Pick a username that isn't offensive or impersonating someone. We may rename or remove accounts that break this.

5. Fair use

MarketWyrm is free and runs on small infrastructure. Don't ruin it:

• No scraping, bulk-downloading, or hammering the servers beyond normal app use, and no evading rate limits — they exist so everyone gets the same fast site.
• No trying to access other users' data, probe the backend, or interfere with the service's operation.
• No reselling or repackaging MarketWyrm's data or signals as your own service.
• Nothing illegal, and nothing that breaks Jagex's terms for the games themselves.

6. Alerts are best-effort

Price alerts (device notifications and email) are delivered on a best-effort basis. The server checks on a schedule, and delivery depends on third parties — email providers, your browser's push service, your device being reachable. An alert may arrive late or not at all. Don't build anything critical on top of an alert arriving on time.

7. Content and ownership

The MarketWyrm name, wyrm artwork, design, and code are ours. Game data comes from public market APIs; item names and icons belong to their respective owners. The things you save in the app (watchlists, targets, notes, lab work) remain yours — we store them only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy.

8. The service is provided as-is

MarketWyrm is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind. Features may change, break, be gated, or be retired; the service may be interrupted or discontinued. Keep your own records of anything you'd hate to lose — this is a free fan project, not a bank vault, and we don't promise backups of saved data.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, the operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) MarketWyrm — including lost profits, lost data, or lost in-game gold. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use MarketWyrm, which is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or anything else that legally can't be limited.

10. Ending things

You can stop using MarketWyrm at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing MarketWyrm@gmail.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and may discontinue the service itself; if we discontinue it, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version appears at this address with an updated effective date, and meaningful changes will be flagged in the app. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. If you use MarketWyrm as a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections the law of your own country gives you.
